Introducing Email Integrations for Drupal and Joomla!

25 January 2013

Thanks to the open-source community, developing and managing a website has become available to many. Building upon powerful content management systems (CMS), most notably WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla, there is a whole ecosystem of developers and designers working to extend the functionalities of the open-source software.

We at MailUp are one of those developers, focusing of course on the email side of things. Our WordPress plugin, for instance, has been downloaded over 14,000 times!

Increasingly, we found out that an email extension for CMS is crucial for 1) managing your mailing list originating from the extension’s built-in sign-up form and 2) optimizing the email delivery of emails sent directly from the CMS.

So, in addition to continuing development on our newsletter sign-up form plugin for WordPress (new version coming soon!), we recently integrated our email delivery platform with Drupal and Joomla!. Both extensions make it easy to add an email sign-up form to your Drupal- or Joomla!-website, so that subscribers are automatically added to your MailUp account and can be managed with all the advanced email marketing campaign tools that exist in MailUp. Both integrations take advantage of the MailUp API to connect to MailUp.
