Conversational Marketing was the topic of the last edition. For 2020, we wanted to make it all about emotional intelligence. Such a human component is (and will increasingly become) essential in an era ruled by automation and machine learning.
Emotional intelligence was first discussed in 1990 by Peter Salovey and John D. Mayer in their Emotional Intelligence article. The concept has been refined over time and applied to different contexts, including marketing.
Companies will increasingly deal with it. Such a “human tool” is going to make the difference in strategies as they emerge and unfold in an automation and machine learning environment.
The MailUp Marketing Conference as a knowledge laboratory
